**************************************** April 27 2007 Arrived at Camp Ellis Beach after a sunny drive from VT We were aware of the Nor'Easter that swept through Ellis Beach less then a week prior to our arrival But were still surprised to be greeted by mountains of sand everywhere, over flowing trashcans and debris. We werer'nt sure we could stay the week untill we entered the "Blue Pearl" and saw how charming and clean the cozy cottage was, despite the cleanup that was going on out side all week , we had a very enjoyable relaxing visit, our dog Grace woke us up every every sunny morning for our walks to the jetty , pier and through town. We walked the Beach here and at Ocean Park every day and ate lots of seafood. Sue was even interviewed by Channel 13 when she was out walking Grace out on the pier.. A tourist perspective on the storm aired on Tv on the 12 and 5:00 news all and all a memorable stay thank you to the Vivolos for sharing their cottage with us The clarks Vermont May 2007 We really enjoyed staying here, we had a great weekend sespite the bad temperatures Thank you Very much! From Quebec June 2007 What a wonderful week its been! we John and Chris from England and Mark and steph gemma and charlie from montreal have enjoyed the beach, walking around camp ellis the beautiful views from the cottage and some amazing lobers from fish'n optician Thank you we had a lovely holiday June 24 Weather was aces! snuggled w/ wife and watched the surf... 96 degrees and great seabreezes got burned , fished till 1:30 am , Wed again 98 degrees another great day Lobster are great Fish'n optrician. last day had great time, my only thoughts would be an up stairs level with a deck on the cottage The Heberts July 4 2007 This is our 2nd year staying here Had an amazing vacation! Fising is just wonderful across the street. To hear the constant ocean crashing is great. I 2nd a second floor here, it would be amazing Thank you for sharing your home! The Lowe Family July 7 to 14 2007 We loved the house and the view, weather could have been better but still enjoyed our stay Mattison July 14 to 21 2007 Straight up from Richmond VA We left the humidity behind! Sweet sunrises and lots of sanddollars We never found Sanddollars before.. Wow! We spotted harbor seals off the jetty wonderfull fishing on the jetty We got a 6 mt pregnat aunt , wife and mother in a kayak to paddle up the saco river on the hottest day Thanks for the great vaction Tony mela, anthony, holland, hudson ,papap, cameron July 21 to 28 Dear Vivolo Family Thank you for shairing your lovely cottage with us! We had a picture perfect week.. lots of sun and fun! We highly recommend the light house lovers cruise in portland. Especially if the days weather is predicted hot and humid. March 2006 We had a lovely week, Love the quant cozy cottage. Decorations are perfect. Your suppies are very ample! Wormwood Restauant was very good. Who cold ask for more? Thanks to our small children we saw some beautiful sunrises ( 6 am) We enjoyed the Portland childresn museum on our only rainy day. We have enjoyed a really fine week. The long Memorial Day weekend was sunny and Hot perfect Beach weather. We explored up and down the coat, lighhouses, gift shope etc and have relished a great variety of seafood in nearby restaurants. The clam chowder just down the road at Huots is soooo good! Thanks from Betsy Morris and Dot Wood Cooperstown Ny June 3 to 10 2006 RAIN for Seven straight days But still found plenty of things to keep us busy. Not the beach vacation we were hoping for but got plenty of R+R nonetheless Love the cottage, especially the window seat , many books read this vacation. Did have an awesome lighting thunderstorm one night we watched it from the window seat. Had Excellent Lobster from the Fishin optician (Dean+ Ellen) Get the soft shell if you can ! My 3 year old graddaughter enjoyed her first stay at the "lake", by the time we left if was the ocean. Wondreful weather, Cottage very confortable, with more than enough amenities. We have had a wonderful time once again. We had a wonderful conversation with the fish 'n Optician, right across the street We found may gifts to take home to relatives at Chars gift shope, We saw Midge, Bill and Charlie down at Midges store. Midge has many interesting gifts in her store. There was a contest at the fishing pier to see who could catch the largest shark, there were Marine Biologists there who were inspecting these 300lb animal, afterwards we went to eat an enjoyable dinner at Huot's Shirley, Marshall, Penny, Emma , Kate, and Scott jack from up state NY August 26 to Sept 2 We had a wonderful time vacationing at your cottage. The Beach themes and Ocean views are priceless. We enjoyed the restaurants and gift shops- all walking distance away. we particulary enjoyed learning the history of Saco from Midge at the Sea Hawk Thanks for the Memories! What a wonderful View..Morning..noon... and night! My husband enjoyed clamming on the beach at low tide. I just love the waking up to the sounds of the ocean, I find it so very relaxing and that was what i was hoping for some well deserved R+R. I walked everyday around Camp Ellis met so many friendly people Met Renie (pottery lady). Fishing was also relaxing for my husband unfortunatly he only got nibbles We went to freeport , LL Bean great time., And Arcadia Nation park Wish we had more time We are sad to leave Maine + the cottage our first trip to Maine we are sure to come back again Thanks Sharon and Frank for the wonderful memories The Castellis Long Island NY Sept 6 to 25 2006 Had a great time. Karen and I have been friends for over 30 years. over the year our familys have vacationed mostly at the outter banks NC and Jersey shore. Karen and I try to have a girls getaway yearly. This was a truly relaxing and beautiful place to get away. Everything was perfect expecially the lobster from the "fish in Optician" Cant wait to return next year. I just love this spot. The cottge is in a great location. We met the neighbors across the street, great people. The beach across the street is really neat. I thought it was very private and quiet. So nice to spend all day on the beach, we had the best weather this week!
Took trip to funtown/splashtown my 6 year old had a blast. I really dont want to leave. I just love this area , we had a great time and really appreciate that we were able to bring our dog he enjoyed the beach too!

This is my first time in Saco Miane and it is very nice, the cottage is full of room and cozy. Went to the beach the waves were spectactular yesterday boogie boarding is lots of fun. It is really peaceful to hear the ocean waves while your eating dinner. Walking on the jetty is fun. Thank you so much for the incredible time I definatley love the location.

We had another wonderful Week!!
My son caught a lobster with his pail and shovel at the rocks. Went to the drive-in, some shops. Rented Kyaks down the street, It was so pretty. We did a whole lot of fishing. I caught the most :) I hate to leave but we will be back next year!!!!

3 sister with our mother. Here for R&R mom recovering from open heart surgery 10 days postopp. It was the most spectalur sunrise our first morning and we all ran down to the beach in our PJ'S like kids on xmas morn. There hasn't been a day that we didnt find Sanddollars right in front of the cottage and many other treasures. This cottage was just what the doctor ordered. We celebrated Thanksgiving and xmas complete with a turkey dinner and xmas tree in October!!! We stuffed ourselves with seafood and drove inland for leaf peeping. The weather has been great and warm for the time of yeaer!! We loved our stay the cottge was so Charming with lots of treasures to enjoy

We started our day with Lobster from the fish'n'optician, Smittys theather located on Rt 1 had Dinner and a Movie all in one. Went to OOB, Fished on Docks caught fish, did the shopping thing. All this was done with heavy pouring rain, The weather just cant stop us , Be back soon !

Thank You Sharon and Frank for sharing this amazing and comfortable place. Althought the weather was gray and sometimes rainy, we enjoyed spending time here in your wonderful home. The beach here is perfect for collecting treasures- we spent lot of time combing the beach at low tide. Having the window seat is especially wonderful. Mom and I spent hours sitting there drinking coffee and watching it rain. We loved watching the rise and fall of the ocean, having the waves crash against the rocks while being toasty warm inside!! WE cant wait to come back! Thank you for helping make this vacation a great one. Tracy and Family

What a lovely little cottage. So quaint and keeping with the area. We enjoyed the uncrowed beach area. Took in all the local attrations along with all the shopping both north and south. We met quite a few locals at the beach. Thank you for sharing your darling home.

We had a great week here! We love the cottage particularly the window seat looking out to the sea where we would watch the sunrise. The beach is wonderful so close and uncrowed. The area has provided almost everything we needed wihtin walking distance. Looking forward to next year.

Perfect! whoever planned this little get away did a wonderfull job! Charming , cozy, dilightfully decorted. Always finding new little surprises tucked here and there. The view is the best in the neighborhood. Cant get any reading dont too busy watching the ever changing view!
